Hurry! We might miss the bus Adrian told her Mum who was accompanying her to the harbor to board a ship down to Italy.

Adrian was as beautiful as they come, a very intelligent 17 year old girl who schooled in a boarding school overseas. She was of a poor background and her mother and siblings had difficulty with their welfare, since they lost their father. They did manage to send her to one of the best schools, since that had always been their father's goal for her education.

On the ship, she sat by the railings and watched the aesthetics of nature. She moved her body in tune with the rhythm of the cool wind and she enjoyed every bit of it. Her future was all that was on her mind, how to be successful was all she thought about.

He starred at her from afar wondering how such a creature existed. Lost to her beauty, forgetting she was too young for him. Ryan was a 30 year old wealthy man who had tasted nothing relating to suffering, he had no other job than that of falling in love. Ryan with courage approached Adrian. He tried his best in creating a conversion between them and after a while, they got along.

On arrival to Italy, Ryan offered to drop her off at her school after they both highlighted from the ship. He had time and the resources, so it was no bother to him.
She reluctantly agreed.

Nervous was Ryan as he sat next to this little goddess. In his head he had done things to her that would get him in jail. He tried comporting himself but he couldn't. After trying every possible means to touch her hands, he finally succeeded and she felt herself responding to his touch. She arrived at her school and told her friend about her encounter.
Well all her friends were teenagers, so they were all stoked about it.

This encouraged her more....

It was a day out for the students and he came around to see her.
Vacation came quite earlier than she expected and he was there to receive her. He took her to his apartment, showed her around and she was settled in no time. Adrian wanted more but Ryan was scared about the age difference but she comforted him. She had grown to love the thought of having a grown man in her life.
He made her feel like a woman and Adrian couldn't restrain herself from wanting more.

In a restaurant during dinner, they had a conversation and there she understood that getting married would be a difficult task but Adrian wasn't bothered.

This was teenage love, who could blame her

In time, her family situation became more challenging that she requested for his assistance. Ryan asked her if she was with him just for his money, he had obviously grown weary of her, since he had satisfied his curiosity. But she reaffirmed her love for home, reminding him it wasn't about the money.

Adrian's mother suspected the changes in her daughter but she denied that they were just friends and nothing more. Later that year, Adrian found out Ryan was getting married to a girl of his status and she felt terrible. After all she had given her innocence and truth to this wolf in sheep clothes, but as with most love struck teenagers she didn't give in.

In other for Ryan not to feel the guilt, he pumped her head with talks of her being promiscuous but it was too late for him since a part of him was already in love with her.
Ryan told Adrian the entire reason why he decided to go with his Father's decision of him having an arranged marriage. He told her that he wasn't strong enough and he was nothing without his father's will.

Adrian was devastated but she kept her cool. They promised to meet once after his marriage.
And so Ryan got married.
As promised, Adrian went over to his house after the wedding, there she waited for him but he didn't show up.
Adrian and her family later moved out of the country. She felt really sad but was strong enough not to show it to her mother or siblings.

He showed up to bid her goodbye, he starred at her the same way he first saw her. She finally saw the love in his eyes.
Adrian's mother later found out they had been lovers.

And so they started a new life some plane new. Life had finally thought Adrian how to deal with pain, and how to learn from it.
One quiet evening while watching the stars and enjoying the cool evening breeze. Adrian heard a sound, and she just had to go check where it was coming from. Behold, it was the boy next door, it was the sweet melody from his piano, it was a sad song.

It pierced deep through her soul that she cried bitterly. She was a star but he left her with a scar, dimming the light in her heart.

Months passed, years went by. She was now a successful writer and he followed up every bit of her story from the shadows...
Her telephone rang one day and he was the one, he consoled her on the loss of her younger sister and finally he whispered her name
