IN MY HEAD S2 EPS15

The fury and the tension was the major build up. The prison was being eaten up by this heat and this was the first major break out. Hundreds of prisoners were going to be freed.
The chief warder got the info as soon as possible; he was poked out of a meeting and as soon his weak eyes beheld the letter-headed note, water gathered up his eyes.

He caught the major words in the letter and his heart shrank more. It should not even be now. He just got the job. Not even now. He frowned at the officer who brought the note and he touched him on the shoulder.

“You know what is happening right?”
“Yes!” The young officer quivered.
“A minute please.” Chief warder, Ben turned. He returned to the conference room and he took his sit. The fact that he was not fine was on his face.
“Ladies and gentle men of this panel.” Ben started. He pushed his cap.
”I might have to leave you guys to do the rest of the decision. But I won’t be doing this now. My upmost attention is needed at work, so I might have to leave all this now till another day.” He smiled as he tried to hide his emotions.
He noticed the eyes on his hands and he took it off the desk not trusting it to stay fixed and not shake.

“What about the cash loot we talked about. That’s important; we need to talk about that.” The naïve General seating at the far end, proposed. Ben looked at him and he drafted a quick smile back in return.
“I know that’s essential, but this is more essential.” Ben looked away, the corner of his eyes pegged to his P.A.
“Mr kwame, the prison is under attack.” He said again, facing the General.

Ben left the conference room with a huge block of shock residing in the spin of the board members.
His secretary and his P.A tried to keep up with his pace.
“What’s happening? How bad is it?
“Not so bad sir.” The P.A replied. He handed some documents over to the secretary and she motioned her to step back to have some things fixed.
Ben stopped, moving his hands in his pocket. His P.A rushed forward, threw one of the keys into the lock hole and twisted it to the left.
The door flung opened and Ben climbed in. It was cold in there and the first instruction wasn’t about the air condition in the room. He had more things to reason.
He whisked, rubbed his nose vigorously and his P.A knew what he wanted. It didn’t take seconds; the P.A had the laptop turned on. He attached a black flash drive to the side of the laptop and he adjusted the lid.
Ben watched for a moment.
“Fuck!” He spilled.
“Fuck!” He spilled again. “Get me the phone.” He said. He grabbed the receiver once the phone got to his side. He pushed buttons furiously, pulled off his tie and he cried into the phone.
“What are you all doping about this… Get me Tony now!” His eyes carrying a note of anxiety.
Tony was one crazy kick ass jailer. He was an ex naval officer, good at controlling break outs and he could mobilize a team of guards swiftly to achieve his goals.
Tony was in, it took only ten minutes.
The break out was almost done, no one was dead yet, but a lot had been injured. The resistance from the guards wasn’t going to last long and if the push up wasn’t controlled, the whole prisoner would be freed. Some prisoners would have to be killed to force control.
“I got the call sir.” Tony said. He was a tall man with the chest sharpened and high up like rocks. He was a man always ready to pick orders, his pay was relative to that of an administrative staff and since he was doing what he loved to do, bursting ass was no issue for him.

Delta dropped his cup of juice and he grazed his hair. His dark hair was long and spiky. He pulled on his hood as he turned on his rocky chair. He stretched for his phone once he heard it ring. He bit his lips softly not anticipating the call. He took off an air of relief. The click he got wasn’t the regular hush. The voice was thick and cracked.
“Trouble boss.” The voice said. Delta nodded and he rented a smile like he was trying to convince himself that things would be fine.
“What exactly is it?” He asked.
“Tony is going in now.” The voice said and the line dropped.
Delta looked extra disappointed. He dropped his phone and he whisked, his breath rasping behind his throat like he had done a long run.
He grabbed his telephone this time and he pulled a call through to one of the stand by Hackers he had a deal with.

“Let me have footages from the prison. I need to know how bad things are.” He said. He hung up and he sank back into his chair, he was so much out of plans and he had none left.
The video popped in after five minutes.
‘recA’ was the subject. With that he knew more was coming.
He replied the mail.

‘Any way I can get a live stream?’
‘DOUBLE THE PAY’ The reply came after two minutes. The internet speed was crazy.
‘Doubled! LINKS, PLEASE’ Delta checked the message well then he sent it.
He downloaded the first cut of the video and he saw how terrible it was. Right at the point he saw the whole job getting messed up.
