Liked this piece. This line really stood out for me, just how it was structured:

Down it plummeted, smooth, silent, and horrifyingly accurate.

Perfect.

Could see it shimmering in my mind like some Computer Graphic simulation suddenly shoved into reality, large phong-shaded highlights dancing on the curved edges.
