"SpaceX" launches and retrieves a used rocket for the second time

in #fiction7 years ago

The US space company, SpaceX, for the second time fired a used rocket into space and then retrieved the text through Twitter to land safely on a floating platform in the ocean.

The Falcon 9 is made up of two parts: the first phase, a 14-storey high building with fuel and nine rocket engines, which is being restored to the ground, while the second-stage section operates with a single engine, Or delivery of supplies to the International Space Station.

The goal of rocket recovery after launch is to save the expenses by releasing them back into space instead of burning in the Earth's atmosphere and forcing the company to build a new rocket every time.

The missile, which landed on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean shortly after taking off from a platform near Cape Carnival, Florida, is the No. 12 successful landing of the first phase of the 17 attempts, and the seventh successful landing attempt on a floating platform in the ocean.

The rocket was launched into space in January, where it was used to put 10 satellites in orbit for Iridium, then returned and landed on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean. The company spent the last few months re-preparing the rocket for Friday's mission, Successfully.

In the last mission, Falcon 9 was used to put Bulgaria's first artificial satellite into space for Pulsatcom.

The landing was not as easy as before, as the rocket was pushing the Bulgaria S-1 satellite into a high orbit. The first phase was more powerful and warmer as it returned to Earth from any other Falcon 9 rocket. For SpaceX by Elon Mask.

Shortly after the rocket landed, Mask returned to Twitter to add that the rocket was "overstuffed" and hit the platform heavily and used almost the entire emergency thrust, but otherwise the landing was successful.

It was the first time that the company had recovered one of its missiles on its two floating platforms, where it maintains another platform in California for missiles fired from the Vandenberg air force base.

Super interesting.

Isn't it amazing what they have been able to accomplish? What an inspirational company, pushing boundaries and trying to solve problems and make money, not just make money. I wish I could invest in them through my Stash investing app.

Alas, I will have to wait until I am ready to pull money and invest in straight stocks instead of the limited number of ETFs available through that platform. I'll just stick to supporting clean energy for now.

I am looking forward for this to become routine :)
