Break down the garden wall. Dig, please. I am planted and I wish to unroot but there is no help for a sunflower standing at my height. You are waiting to reap my seeds. You are waiting for my petals to fall. I am waiting for sweet release because I am still alive and wish to keep living.

Have you ever loved? Have you seen the light in your lover's eyes when you do not stand in the way of goodbye but instead hold open the door and kiss her and whisper how you'd love to see her again soon?

Take this seed. Plant me again in warm soil. But for now, release my from the earth that claims me. Let me wander beyond. A dream have I. I will touch the sun. It is my nature.

Release me.

This is not goodbye.
