TWIST OF FAITH : A SECOND CHANCE

A HUMBLE BEGINNING :
john was from a very poor home and he was the last if 4 children, every morning brings a new challenge to him and his family,a hard life,as they need to scrap for food daily, he often goes hungry,but his mother was a fruit seller, his father does odd jobs and it's is not every time he gets jobs. Life was bleak for them and it seems the children will repeat a cycle of poverty once again unless perhaps through a divine intervention from God .John was a very Intelligent boy , and this is his story.

FAITH : THE HAND OF GOD
He was sent to deliver fruits to a wealthy customer who lives in one of the high brow arrears in an estate with fierce security looking guards, he knocked and was ushered in as he glances round the expansive sitting room his eyes fell on a very pretty lady perhaps as at then she was 17 years old a year's older,
she was trying to solve a geometric equation and she was getting frustrated as seen on her face, for history sake John attends a public school which was meant for the very poor, and fortunately he was good at maths, he offered to assist and she willingly obliged, it took him 4 minutes to solve the equation, unknown to John, the girls mother was watching from the kitchen he was further encouraged to come in every evening to teach the girl, and he gets to eat and most often takes food home to his family.

fast foreword to 2 years latter the was mother of the girl decided he should come live with them and he was enrolled into one of the best schools in Lagos. 4 years latter sees him studying accounting. in the The prestigious university of Lagos (UNILAG) and he happens to be a course representative then and he was well behaved , John did not forget his humble background as he eschewed and avoided bad friends .

He graduated with flying colours and was posted to serve in Imo state, a state characterized as the commercial hub of the eastherners, it is mandatory to serve in the national youth service corps and he paid his dues by serving deligently as his project can still be found in the in a small town in Orlu.

He secured a job with price water coopers and audit firm , a multinational company , his career path started from here as he was employed based on merit.He was a workaholic and would not leave anything to chance and leave no stone unturned..He was tall and handlsome a replica of his father .He started saving and built a house for his parents.

As fate would have it his brothers weren't doing any better as the first son was in jail for robbery.the second son named Samuel was a bricklauer and the third son was a tailor.

John started by helping his brothers by upskilling them on how to better their lives and also he offered then financial assistance.

A HARD BLOW : THE HARD FALL :

He had closed from work one eveing and was stuck in traffic , a lady in her mid 20s was trying to fix her car which was faulty , John offered to assist few weeks latter , after many calls and a few dates saw them engaged at the ikoyi magistrate court and they were both happy that they had met dues to circumstances.

They were blessed with a beautiful girl, but unknown to them the child was suffering from sickle cell anemia, the money he spent was like
pouring trickle of water into the ocean,as she kept falling I'll frequently, John and his wife never knew thier blood type which is very common here in Nigeria, it was the ardvent of this occurrence that open their eyes.well...... things we do for lI've.

Few years later the child became very frail and was always admitted in the hospital as sickle cell has no cure.she died few months latter and things began to fall apart between loved ones.Few months later saw John going back to be a workalic that he once was and his wife keep late **.

THE TRAGEDY : LIFE IS A MYSTERY TO BELIEVE,NOT A PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED .

He came back one night and met his wife with a strange man on their matrimonial bed making love, Perhaps it was reflex , Perhaps it was anger he went to the kitchen and wielded a knife and stabbed the his wife lover , he died instantly, all he heard In his head was
run ..... run... and run ... he ran.

Few days later his picture was all over the tabloid , he has become a wanted felon. friends and family deserted him, he was alone for the first in his life .He went straight to the bank and closed his account , he broke his SIM card and destroyed his phone.

He travelled very far away from civilization and stayed in a village were he planed his escape from the country.

Four months later he met with a driver who agreed to take him through three borders. illegally, Ghana, Togo and Libya. He joined other immigrants in crossing the Mediterranean sea in a dingy boat for 14 days that stayed afloat like a cast away.
They landed in the port of France and he flee from there,he wondered the street of Paris searching for odd jobs and he gathered some money and crossed to Germany

THE TWIST :A SECOND CHANCE IN LIFE:
Few years later he secure a job as a clerk in the foreign country. and the manager was surprised at his experience and dextirity he was promoted and he become the head head of accounts .

One day he decided to attend a friend's wedding were he met A lady with a blind hair, he became attracted to her and requested that he be introduced fee months latter saw John married with three kids and this is biography.

Sometimes we as humans can beat life at life's own game, perhaps it was Faith perhaps he was intelligent or maybe he was just lucky.

When life gives you lemon you can add watter and turn it to lemonade.

Even though what he did was very wrong , faith still gave him a second chance to right his wrong , probably because he has been good to people and God decided to forgive him knowing that his wife lover that got killed probably got what was comming to him.
