'Stranger Things': a series that is a patchwork of 80

On 15 July, Netflix debuted the eight episodes of the first season of "Stranger Things". All it took was a weekend (and with it the opportunity to watch all the episodes) for the series conquered enthusiastic fans.

The script do not forget to account for the eighties paranoia with communism, spies and the Cold War and also brings elements drawn directly from within the fantastic universe of Dungeons & Dragons, the most notorious of the world that had its heyday in the 1980s when it was released. One of the main characters, Will's mother, is played by actress Wynona Ryder, one of the decade icons.
