mystic falls, a town who's supernatural population is almost 30,427. the television show based on the novel series THE VAMPIRE DIARIES started around 9 years ago{2009-2017}. this very year its eighth season completed with a heartbreaking announcement of show being wrapped, it broke many viewers heart.

Ever resolving conflicts among themselves since 1864 over the love of a young woman Katherine Pierce who turned them both into monsters. Damon promised Stefan an eternity of misery as Stefan got Katherine killed.

Following Stefan to mystic falls (2009), Damon found out the reason Stefan had been back - elena Gilbert (being the doppelganger of Katherine Peirce) . An intense love story of Stefan Salvatore and elena Gilbert for over 3 seasons with Damon causing a lot of trouble over the town. The finale episode of season 3 contained many deaths along with Elena who sacrifices her life for a friend. How could the two gallants let the love of their life die?! Turning elena into one of their kind-vampire. The sire bond between Damon and elena draws a special relation. Intensity of their love grows through out the seasons. Mystic falls, a town of vampires, witches, doppelgangers, hybrids, ghosts, hunters, travellers, werewolves and not leaving behind the obvious i.e human beings ends on a note with the death of a few eminent members.
