My goodness @bex-dk ! You have come quite far since the first draft of chapter 1. This is really quite good! Smooth and polished. Well done! I'm hooked with the idea of an infant mage. Kind of like Alia Atreides from the Dune series. Drank the water of life while still in the womb, which gave her "magical" characteristics. Cheers!
It also got a lot more edits and spent longer getting written and rewritten. But yes, fiction-workshop grows writers FAST.
