Minotaur is a human-shaped monster with a bull-headed. This form was the result of the curse upon Minos, the King of Crete, because the bull he had to give to the god Poseidon hid it, so Poseidon dropped a curse on Minos' wife.

Minos' wife, Pasifae, was made to fall in love with the bull. By asking for help from Daidalos, Pasifae asked for a female bison to be made.
She then goes into a fake bull, to make love with the bull.

So Pasifae pregnant babies from their relationship with thebull, born half-human creature half bull that is too ferocious to be raised normally

This Monster minotaur then lives in the middle of anelaborate labyrinth, which was deliberately designed by architect Daidalos and made to save the Minotaur.

After growing up, the Minotaur becomes a cannibal and demands the offering of women and men every year to be eaten. the people of the city of Athens had to fulfill that desire so as not to be attacked by Crete.

After the habit lasted for some time, this monster was eventually killed by Thesus, a Greek hero disguised as one of the sacrifices. Prior to that incident, Thesus met with Ariadne, who was noneother than the daughter of the Cretan king who fell in love with her.

Thesus was assisted by Ariadne by giving him a sword and a thread. Thesus enters the labyrinth and sticksout the scroll. Theseus explored the labyrinth and finally met the Minotaur.

They then fight. The Minotaur, which proved very powerful, had troubled Theseus but with his sword, Theseus finally succeeded in killing the Minotaur. Theseus then useshis thread to retrace his tracks to get out of the intricate maze.
