She couldn't hold her tears as news started streaming in, she wasn't sure of her next move, crippled with fear she tried to muscle all the energy that she had and reached for her phone to call Glenn. It kept going to voice mail and her heart sank as she could only imagine the worst had happened.
The breaking news on the T.V. made her life more unbearable as they confirmed that nobody had survived the plane crash, Ann who is close friend to Jenny rushed to her home cause she knew Glenn was on the plane and knew her close friend would need all the support she could get. Then the phone started ringing, she chose to ignore them cause she knew it people calling to find out how she was holding on. Ann took the responsibility to answer all the calls giving Jenny time to mourn. A lot was going through her mind , they had been married for six months and she was pregnant but the future seem bleak since her high school sweet heart was no more , the tears flowed and her heart ached. Nothing could comfort her.
They left for the airport since they needed to go and get more information from the airline and to find out what went wrong. They came across other families whose members were on that plane and the whole room was in a mournful atmosphere. Strangers hugged and cried together and chatted about their lost loved ones. The managing director of the airline came and addressed the angry families and then left. Ann and Jenny went back home and met with both Glenn and Jenny family members who came to comfort each other.
At around 2300hrs the phone rang and Ann took it, the caller on the other side was eager to talk to Jenny, he said he was a police officer from Rome. Jenny took the phone and identified herself, the officer asked if he knew Glenn Savage, she responded that he was her husband. The police said that they had arrested him for fighting in the airport, and wanted to know if she was willing to post bail for him. Jenny jumped with joy and said a big yes that everybody in the room became curious about it. Glenn is alive she shouted.
Glenn had a temper that sometimes got him in trouble and she was always telling him to get help and she was always unhappy about his temper issues but this time she was happy that he got into a fight. Ann, Jenny and Glenn brother boarded the next plane to Rome, She could not wait to hold him. After landing in Rome she headed to the police station and bailed her husband. She knelt and thanked God for saving his husband. Glenn was not in a hurry to go home so they spent the next four days in Rome. Jenny and Glenn got attached and started dating in Rome since they were both single
