Wait, so, Will is Dean and Josh is Sam, is that, right? Now that you mentioned the Supernatural analogy, I can't stop thinking about it. Nice of you to include the father in the mix, it'll make for some good father-son dynamics. I don't really get why they're so hung up on the attributes from the legends. Females were evil because they had cause to be back then (jealousy). Since Anna was turned and had no prior interactions to the noble males back then (since there seems to be none right now), she wouldn't have that same predisposition.
It's interesting that they're turning tricks to get by. Does Anna have the classic vampire compel ability? If she does, it would be so much easier to earn money. This was a nice follow-up to where they left off. Now, I'm interested to see how their paths and Jared's converge. It seems to be a recurring theme, talking about Today Again haha

Vampires do not have compulsion in my series or the ability to read minds. They're not hung up on female attributes, Anna is just insistent on learning anything that she can. imagine if you were turned into a vampire than had to run and had no idea what it meant to be one other than the basics, you would want to know every little tiny shred of possibility, right? At least I know I would.
Yes Will/dean josh/sam, although they are also slightly based on the personalities of my stepsons (will and josh are their actual names) who ironically have similar personalities to sam and dean. Josh being the more sensitive, kinder, one who would definitely be doing the research, Will being a perpetual smartass who also is more attached to his own dad (my husband) although josh doesn't have problem with my husband like the josh in the story does.
The thousand votes are sigmajin's bot army. He wanted to see if the whales not voting would make any difference to what his bots are worth and chose me because we're friendly and he feels i don't put up shit posts just trying to make money which he abhors. Too bad it didn't make a lot of difference money wise, but it is cool to have a post with that many votes on it :)
Good to know, good to know. I guess this where different perspectives come in. Personally, I'll try to learn the limitations and weaknesses first then experiment with it, since I feel that I would have a kind of "runner's high". It's interesting how different perspectives affect the flow of the story in a major way.

Hm, well Anna is definitely learning her limitations and weaknesses on her own, but the stuff about the female vampires is actually extremely important. That there aren't very many left, that none have been able to breed, that new bit about the evil spiteful ones hunting the gentle healers to extinction...I just tried to allude enough to it so that when the time came i didn't have to cram all the explaining in at once :) But when I do my rewrite I might do that a little differently such as have the hunter friends tell them it as a fact rather than a possibility, add a little more concreteness and make it more understandable as to why it's important. Thanks for pointing it out, because i do see the need for that now.
