Ohhh... So, this is the series you were talking about. The premise alone has already gotten me excited! You've already proven that you write such an engrossing tale between the interaction of two people, so sign me up as a regular reader of this one as well! I just hope that this doesn't interfere with the Playground series in any way, my friend.
Time loops are awesome. It brings the reader deep into time travel, without all the messy inconsistencies that time travel stories usually fall under. You could say that you ... found the loop hole there ;) I'm looking forward to reading this when this comes out! Today Again couldn't come any sooner
I love your comments so much! I saw it earlier but I didn't want to read it until I could give it my full attention and write back. As far as interfering with the playground, I have one more to put up and then I am taking a short sabbatical from it, though this book isn't why. More this book will take the place of it for a little bit. I have pages devoted to notes and ideas for the playground that I need to organize, to continue the flow and momentum of the story, plus I want there to be time skips within it, aging the characters bit by bit.
The Playground is unique to my normal style of writing; for one thing I don't edit it. At all. In fact my husband takes a look at it just to see if there's typos or grammatical errors, I don't even do that much. Because when I started it, it was an exercise intended to see what I could create without thinking in terms of an audience, just a story for myself. Also to see if I could write short stories since I'm more of a novel style writer. Since I began posting it on steemit it's been a little harder to stay pure to my original intent, I'm often tempted to look it over. And the inspiration for it is more difficult for me in winter as I'm unable to create it in my preferred environment-outside. It's too cold and dreary in NY most of the time during these months. I was lucky to have some nice days that were relatively warm with blue skies in order to complete the last several, but it's highly unlikely to get that in January and February. So it may be March before I resume, we'll have to see.
I do hope you like the new story. I'm big on character development so in this one I'm starting out with some people who can really use it, LOL. Also I'm a huge fan of side characters, which you wouldn't know from my playground series, but you'll see a much broader stage in this story. Though not my broadest stage by any means, I also have a series of paranormal books-two completed novels and a third one in progress that I might consider putting on here. The only trouble is the length of the chapters. This one I'm writing for steemit so the chapters will be much shorter than my normal.
Anyway, once again, thank you for your input and just for being you. Sometimes you meet someone and instantly connect as if you've been friends for a long time. And who knows, maybe we have been in the universal scheme of things :)
That's too bad about the Playground series, though I have high hopes for Today Again. It really does seem like something that more people can relate to. I really hope I get the chance to read your chapters as they come with my new strict time limit on Steemit. Just know that you have my utmost support in this new venture!
It seems like you have tons more in store. You can maybe set a schedule for them and update them weekly to give all of them a great shot at readers. Don't take readership advice from me though ;)
