Incredible what point of view does to truth.
There is a lot in this story to comment on. The child and the version of the story that is given to her.
Also, the woman's memory and her reading of the man's feelings; her tresspassing of traditional gender roles (which is the best thing that can happen to shy men); the man's background story and his lingering absentmindedness about the story, which for the woman meant something totally different.
Really emotional story. Maybe too salty for some, maybe too wet or cold, but very true in many respects. Great job
