Avatar: The Lost Legend -- Story So Far, and New Chapters Coming!

After a brief hiatus, Avatar: The Lost Legend returns later today with new chapters. Thanks for sticking with me and the story!

If this is your first time of finding me, here's a summary of prevous chapters.

Story So Far

After months of hearing voices, seeing things that are not there and dreaming vivid dreams, Steve Wellington is visited one night by a teenage stranger --a boy who tells him he was in immediate danger and needs to follow him. Before Steve can process the information and make a decision, his apartment is suddenly attacked by 2 firebending nnjas in black. The boy, Chris McGregor, defends him ànd helps him escape, and as they run, he tells him the truth --he is the Avatar, and he the only one who can save the world.

They escape to a hideout beneath New York's Central Park where Steve meets more benders of Chris' organization --The Bending Alliance -- which was founded by Steve's own father 16 years ago. The director of the colony reveals everything to him: how the ability to bend had inexplicably returned, how his father had seen a vision at that time and formed the Alliance, how some of the members had killed him and created their own group, and how he, as the Avatar, was the only one who could save the world from a danger his father had foreseen.

Steve is shocked, but when a vision he has seen matches one of the details given, he realises it's all true. He is teamed up with Chris and a waterbender named Jean who seems to hate him for some reason to retrieve the item in the vision, a mystical totem --the Totem of the Elements-- which has something to do with the coming catastrophe. After a brief talk with his mother who is beng kept safe by the Alliance from the Solution, the other bending organization, they set off to Ohio, to his Grandma Lily's house in the countryside, on whose kitchen wall the totem has hung all these years.

Avatar: The Lost Legend is fan-fiction based on Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender and other connected comics and series.
