In the kitchen was a sweet smell of baked bread. Lilith stood at the stove, stirring the remnants of the soup.
"Why you didn’t come on dinner, dear?" The cook turned around.
"I didn’t notice how the evening came."
"You look gloomy, something happened?" Lilith looked at the girl's hands, which held a small bag. "And what's that?"
"This is a leave allowance, let's just say..."
"Great Creator! Did James fire you? How this happened? He knows that you have nowhere to go!"
"He'll fire the rest tomorrow, too..."
Lilith fell silent, not knowing what to say. She didn’t want to lose her job.
"What is it, my dear?"

Lilith just turned away silently, poured a bowl of soup and put it on the table.
"Have supper, my dear. I don’t now, when you will have a chance to eat well. A portion for Satina I already prepared. There's a bag."
Siala sat down at the table. Tears started rolling down her cheeks. How long will it last? Is she able to show her weakness to no one?
Having supper, the elf thanked Lilith for all, and left the master's house. After standing a little under the drizzling rain, she threw a hood and ran to the doctor.
