# 81: Check with the Wiz.

Chad and Akatsuki had been cheerfully tracking and eliminating all those who had been involved in his kidnapping.

Photographic memory was wonderful, not his but hers. Akatsuki ‘remembered’ everything that had been done to Chad, and could identify those who had done it, in great detail. She could even remember, word for word, any telephone conversations that had occurred within Chad’s hearing at the time.

That gave them a great many clues.

They picked off the bad guys one by one...that spooked them..and provided more clues.

It came to pass that Chad and Akatsuki were sitting, hidden from sight, on a window ledge high above the street and across it from a building into which they had watched the last of their prey run into.

“What now KimoSabe?” Akatsuki asked him.

“I haz a plan” he told her....and he did.

“I likes it” she replied..then fragmented in to a million pieces.

” I’ll be right back. “ she told him “don’t go anywhere.”

“As if” he replied.

“This is interesting” Akatsuki said.

“It certainly is” Chad agreed with her. Akatsuki had transformed her avatar, the small dragon puppet, into a zillion spy-gnats. The gnats had infiltrated the building. They were everywhere. They learned all there was to know about it...including the contents of the vault.

They gazed upon the enigma.

“Yup” Akatsuki agreed with what Chad hadn’t said yet.

“We need to contact the ArchMage” Chad told her.

“So THAT’S where it went” Shelby replied when Chad had told him about his findings.

“Akatsuki knew what it was “ Chad told him “ I didn’t have the faintest clue.”

“ Us Avatars are like that “ Elvira spoke up.” What should we do about this Shelby?”

“Oh...I dunno.” Shelby said. “I think I’ll leave it up to you. Here are the keys...drive it like you own it.”

..and he was gone.

“Huh?” Chad exclaimed to Akatsuki.

“If you can’t keep up take notes” Akatsuki teased him. “ I can control the exo-skeleton now.

“Oh” Chad said..then grinned evilly...”oooooooh.”
