RE: A Day in the Clouds (Chapter 5) - The Hours Between 0900 and 1000 (Part 1 of 2)

I really love how you reference a past life, it's such a cool way to see it, as if some part of him is lost in the memory of that and that's why it's so hard for him to fit into his life in the here and now.
Once again you captured the entire scene vividly, bringing me back to my own childhood, i was really relating to Ayesa, though instead of a bow it was my first slingshot. I also had it taken for a few minutes after pointing it at someone, and snatched from me by a teasing cousin.
You truly paint a picture with your words my friend.

Thank you for the kind words, my friend! I'm glad that you appreciate the approach that I took :D I know it could get confusing, and the reception hasn't been overwhelmingly positive, but it's important to note that everything being told is through the eyes of Ledd, whose perception of reality isn't the same as the characters around him. You hit it right on the money though. I'm indeed trying to portray his struggles of fitting in. He's operating on a different wavelength, and not a lot of people understand. I guess that's how this whole story is being received as well, which I guess is ironic in a way. Thank you for your continued support!
