This is another fantastic story! I really like the idea of nutricorn, a one food meets all needs solution. I love how the plot weaves past and present to create a deeper character, the way you described the duality of abusive love and the way it shaped your character gave the story such depth. I particularly loved how it was still a solution, just not the one they had intended.
Simply awesome. One of the greatest stories I have read lately. Really liked how you intertwined the family picture with a "bigger picture".
