there is no need to imagine of how the world will be without people, the fact is that people will be on this earth as clearly stated in the bible. We all know that a new earth and Heaven shall be created and this where only those who are redeemed shall live with our Lord Jesus Christ when he comes to establish his kingdom on Earth, with the capital at Jerusalem and am very confident about this because all prophecies come to pass.
You will see yourself on a new earth and u will not remember the old earth.
