Loved your story. Who hasn't thought of walking out the door and disappearing? There are those days when that looks mighty good. You captured her attitude very well. Hope she finds what she's looking for!

It's such a relatable concept. My goal in life is to do just that, only less simply walking out the door and more logical and methodical! Haha. You know: saving money, buying some land in the countryside, building a simple cottage on it, then when it's time... move on over!
I hope she finds what she's looking for too. :) And doesn't regret her choice later in the day when she realises that she literally has no-where to go and has locked herself out of her home.
