I would have been as ticked as Hailey if the priest only talked about the father when it was the mother's eulogy. That was rude and crude of him, and oh so typical of how I view the church. The Man first, and the Wife, well let's not talk about her. Why in hell any woman would belong to an organized group of people that do nothing but put them down is beyond me. Sorry, slight rant I know. It was an effective bit, got the reader's emotions going, (at least mine heated up) so a great bit of story telling. Thank you for a job well done.
