RE: Short Sci-Fi Story: Labyrinth and The Dream (English/Turkish)

in #fiction6 years ago

Yet another really interesting story in the realm of science fiction, and well, since it is practically everything i do here, (But i must say that you have encouraged me to publish some of the writing ideas from the back of my head) another critic or analisis, whatever you want to call it, from a random critic.

I must say the idea, the concept behind it all is really intriguing to say the least, it makes me think about what the human race is aiming for to get some hours of entertainment in the future, because, well, it seems to get more and more advanced by the second.

The idea of "Dream Artist", people that get paid for sleeping, is so outrageous and insane in the grand scheme of things that, it works perfectly, because, well, it is a surealistic sci-fi story after all.

I really can see why you put dali in the artists that Selim saw, and just because of that, i would erase every single bad review given the fact that Dali is my favorite artist of them all and i have kind of a subjective love for him that makes me forget about the parameters that encase Good or Bad.

Anyways my only problem with this was solely in the writing, since it truly seemed to repeat some words, like room, or panther, etc. And in that the structure of the text some times was kind of hard to read sometimes because the text didn't conserve space between what should be sepparated as stand alone paragraphs, but those are personal problems that may not bother anyone else.

It was an amazing writing that really encased perfectly the surealism, i might consider making a blog analising every single one of your stories as a whole in some time, i really think they deserve it, and that it would make for good reading material.

That was the because to the why of a random critic, thanks for reading

Thank you for the critic. You are right about long texts and repeated words. The other artists mensioned in the story were also somehow surrealist, list of the painters I like.

Yes, i noticed that they were surrealists later on when looking them up in the internet, thanks for the content as always
