“And where are we headed?” the old man said with a grin.
“The Tor, our Mage said it is a powerful place so let’s make it our camp and we can lead sermons from Saint Michaels Tower while we have a bloody good knees up. People already have seen the healing there so it’s the perfect place.” Reverend Karen said as she looked over to George and he smiled in approval. “This Mordred hides away but the government can’t. If we can start a big enough protest and then get others to spring up in other areas we can force the government to stop.”
“The earth power feeds off the energy of people, that is why so many religions dance and sing. You need to make the Tor into a celebration of energy and stay there for as long as possible, at least until the Summer Solstice, with as many people as possible.” George said with a grin to them all, it could work he thought.
“What about you?” Mick asked.
“If I am there at the Tor then you would all be in danger so I will go do my part elsewhere away from crowds and hopefully draw away Mordred and his followers.” George said. “The Solstice approaches and I will need to act then to take advantage of it.”
“Well I’d better go pinch a car to get you to where you are going and as I bet you can’t drive I’ll be going with you.” Mick said standing up.
“You can’t steal cars!” George said in shock.
“Of course I fucking can, done it lots of times.” Mick said with a grin.
“Just take mine, last thing we need is you getting pulled over for driving a stolen car.” Reverend Karen said.
“I’m banned from driving anyway for the next three years so taking a car won’t make a difference if we get pulled.” Mick said.
“Still, take my car as it won’t be reported stolen.” Reverend Karen said.

George found it strange how fast people in this age could organise events, within minutes the plan was on the internet, posted to closed groups as the Wiccans and Pagans mobilised, many were already part of the environmental groups protesting the local poisoning in the area. By the next morning the first people descended on the Tor setting up tents. In the run up to the Solstice thousands of people would be heading into the area, usually to gather at Stonehenge but this year they now all headed for Glastonbury. Reverend Karen gave out tents donated to the shelter after a local festival to the many local homeless who used the town shelter and promised them a party and free food. Meanwhile she spoke to other priests and vicars in the area and that Sunday all gave a sermon urging people to support the demonstration at the Tor and fight to protect their countryside. Within three days thousands of people were camped around Glastonbury and the Tor, in fields surrounding the site while local churches brought in food and one parishioner who owned a large events firm dropped off portable toilets and other equipment usually used at the big rock festivals for the protesters to use. The protest quickly grew to be the largest in British history and Glastonbury and the surrounding area became a massive camp site.
While the protests grew George waited at Reverend Karen’s vicarage and on the Tuesday night he set of with Mick for Stonehenge.
