It might be your best in the original, but I think your English is flowing better here. Even without as many rounds of edits. It may help not to have as much picture in your head of how it should be.
I think so... Having an ideal image in mind makes everything in reality seems bad.
I'd like you to do more short pieces. Really short--like 500-1000. Turn some of those freewrites you did into short stories, vignettes, or character sketches. Let us work with you on somehting trivial where there isn't a deadline.
