Beady Eyed Vermin, Fight On!

Khan McDoo looks with disdain at the barrels of ale having sworn off the drink years ago after a drunken run in with a barmaid and funny little gentleman named Sven, if he remembers correctly.

Khan starts west along the cellar wall then slows to make sure he does not travel to far from his new companions. He is excited by any hint of battle, no matter how minuscule. As he approaches the dark back corner to glowing green eyes blink open, then turn to slits of burning hatred. A giant rat is big, but the sewage coated beast that emerges from the shadows and approaches Khan is enormous. Khan jumps at the opportunity to attack the giant rat, swinging his Steel knuckle covered fists with all his might.

Master Sung readies for attack so he is to not be caught off guard.

Akasha quickly stepped to the side of the group, summoning her inner will she formed a glowing orb between her hands that flew towards the giant rat fighting Blackbird. Just before impact she saw the raw hatred in the fire-lit eyes of her soon to be smoldering foe. Nestled against the cool moist wall far from the battle watching the battle transpired around flame covered rat, she smiled a dark other worldy smile. This may be more fun than I thought, she whispered glibly.

Blackbird nods to Akasha with gratitude, and moves toward the stinking corpse laid down by Khan McDoo.

Piker Big Coin shakes his head and curses Drad Silor. "Damnation! The tricky bastard neglected to mention the rodents were larger than I am!"

Piker uses his Racial Benefit for Low Level Lighting to examine the canvas sacks, allowing the more capable fighters to engage the rodents. Finding nothing in the sacks, he begins to approach Khan McDoo in the darkened corner, and examines the huge poisonous rat corpse before him.

Ser Boros and Aiyana dispatch their foes with ease, and begin to recover from the battle.

Benziken, Sabastine Blackblade, and Wilhelm von Drepfelt kick or nudge the rat corpses out of their way and into the dank corners of the cellar before joining the growing party at the dark rear corner of the cellar where the green eyes of the dead rat still glow with an unnatural light.

Along the wall of the cellar here you can see water stains running over the rough hewn stones. There is a small hole in the ceiling where water is dripping out. However, along the floor there is no sign of a puddle forming. The sound of constantly dripping water toward the back corner of the cellar is stronger now. It almost covers the song of cave crickets escaping spiders.

Large barrels of ale line the walls and are piled in the center of the large tavern cellar. Tossed atop the sealed barrels are large canvas storage bags filled with various tavern foods.

All the Giant Rats have been properly dealt with and now lie - rotting or smoldering - near the pile of barrels and storage bags. You see little more here than a few tiny spiders and cave crickets jumping about.
