My entry for the WE LOVE ANIMALS - PHOTO CONTEST by @flamingirl - Day 7
We were sitting quietly outside our room, in the veranda of our hotel, The Veranda, in Matheran, when suddenly we noticed a monkey sitting on the table, barely 2 feet away, silently staring at us (photograph is posted below). It then seemed to look at our room door (photograph) also posted below and then decided to move away (the above photograph).
Even though, we were warned to lock our door, not just latch it, we foolishly just latched it. Before, we could react, the monkey had unlatched our door and entered. Fortunately, for us, we managed to startle the monkey and chase it away.
