UGADI FESTIVAL IN MY HOME

Hi,friends today is one festival for all Telugu people name UGADI.All Telugu people celebrate this festival like new year.

Hear I give some information about it.

Ugadi (Ugādi, Samvatsarādi, Yugadi) is the New Year's Day for the Hindus of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana states in India.It is happily seen in these locales on the main day of the Hindu lunisolar schedule month of Chaitra.This comes regularly march or April of the month.

On this day we wake up at early morning and drawing brilliant examples on floor called kolamulus ( Rangoli), mango leaf enhancements on entryways called toranalu , purchasing and giving blessings, for example, new garments, offering philanthropy to poor people, extraordinary shower took after by oil treatment, planning and sharing an exceptional sustenance called pachadi, and going to Hindu temples.The pachadi is an outstanding merry nourishment that consolidates all flavors – sweet, sharp, salty, intense. In the Telugu and Kannada Hindu conventions, it is a representative update that one must expect all kinds of encounters in the coming new year and benefit as much as possible from them

Today we make one different pachadi is called UGADI PACHADI.With out this it not fulfill the festival. It is very compulsory recipe of this day.

On the event of Ugadi, a blend of six fixings is made, each symbolizing a feeling, to be devoured by the relatives.

Neem buds/blossom - Sadness

Jaggery-Happiness

Green stew Anger

Salt-Fear

Tamarind-Disgust

Unripened Mango-Surprise

Using this all ingredients we make PACHADI. It give fantastic taste.

PREPARATIONS :-

• For this PACHADI first I grated mango put in bowl.

• then put remaining all ingredients and mix them well

Hear we give this pachadi as a naiyavadam to the GOD.

After worship we take this like a prasadam.

It indicates all our life stages.

After eating this PACHADI we take break fast before that we don't eat anything.This is rule of this festival.

For this festival my three kids wear traditional dress, all of you bless them.
