7 Days Fasting Finished

Last Saturday, a number of Clergy members and I started a "Dry Fast", no food or water!

My start weight of 88.95 kg which is about 7 kg over my recommended weight.

After 7 Days - 83.40 kg which is a loss of 5.55 kg or 12.24 Pounds.

Why a dry fast instead of a water fast?

Because the body's mechanism for releasing stored fat is engaged most quickly when the body needs water, so when the body starts to become dehydrated, it breaks open the fat cells to release water, and that action also releases the stored toxins back into the system, where the liver and kidneys can finally filter it out of the body completely.

Satan and his pharmaceutical industry have convinced the world that they are constantly dehydrated and need to drink vast amounts of water every day or they will die... It is a HUGE LIE... The body can go for many days without water because of the stored fat reserves, but Satan doesn't want you to know that, because if you keep drinking large amounts of water, then his toxins remain in your fat storage, controlling you your entire life.

People who dry fast properly, often cure themselves of major diseases, including cancer, diabetes, heart disease, congestive heart failure, and many other major ailments, because during the starvation process, the body EATS anything it can to keep going, including arterial fat and cholesterol, scar tissue and tumors, and this causes the body to release MASSIVE amounts of growth hormone to repair all of the systems, which essentially RESETS the body to its former healthy state.

The reason the story of Christ's 40 days of dry fasting in the desert is so important, is because he defeats the Devil and temptation during it... It is the Bible's single teaching on how to beat addiction and temptation, but most people don't grasp the message.

Day 0

Start weight of 88.95 kg which is about 7 kg over my recommended weight.
The fast started at 10.30 am on Saturday the 22nd of September. The evening before I had pasta bolognese for dinner, and for breakfast, 2 slices of toast and coffee. Just before the start of the dry fast, I took some vitamin tablets and half a glass of water, that would be all until the end of the 3 days.

Day 1

After 24 hours - 87.25 kg which is a loss of 1.7 kg.
The first thing I noticed was a desire to go to the fridge, this lasted for the first 12 hours or so but was not a problem.

I have been a constant coffee drinker since the age of about ten and this one was the real battle, which is still ongoing.

After about 8 hours without a cuppa, the withdrawal headaches started!

Day 2

After 48 hours - 85.85 kg which is a loss of 3.1 kg.
Coffee withdrawals, after 24 hours I took 1 panadol which removed the headache. No hunger or thirst symptoms.

Day 3

After 72 hours - 84.20 kg which is a loss of 4.75 kg.
Wow, 72 hours into the Dry Fast and I am feeling fine and have lost over 10 Pounds! Amazingly, I was still peeing and it was nothing like those fake dehydration urine charts. My body was breaking down the fat stores to release the internal fluids, a light yellow color.

I also read about a study by the University of California that finds that fasting for 72 hours can regenerate the entire immune system!

Day 4

After 96 hours - 83.50 kg which is a loss of 5.45 kg.
12 Pounds down, feeling energized. Coming off the fast will take another 3 days of slowly adjusting the diet and amounts consumed.

I broke the fast with some fish oils and vitamin tablets, a small half glass of Tropical Juice mixed with a little water, bad mistake, this was like acid to the tongue and went straight through me, at least the bowels got a cleanse! Coconut water is recommended to break the fast, less harsh on the system. I also had a small tub of sugar-free yogurt for dinner, which should help with the stomach pains if you have any. One piece of toast, half with honey and jam for lunch, and yes, I could not resist a small weak cup of coffee, but it just did not have the taste appeal. I would recommend adding a small amount of nuts, fruit, and vegetables back into the diet, avoid junk foods and meats for a while.

Day 5

After 120 hours - 83.45 kg which is a loss of 5.5 kg.
Had a small bowl of cereal for breakfast, toast and coffee for lunch, yogurt for dinner. Starting to feel a lot healthier and stronger.

Day 6

After 144 hours - 83.45 kg which is a loss of 5.5 kg.
Feeling energised!

Day 7

After 7 Days - 83.40 kg which is a loss of 5.55 kg.
Introduced a smoothie with: 1 Banana, 1 Strawberry, 1 Kiwi fruit, 1 Yogurt, dash of milk and crushed ice. Had half for lunch and the other half for dinner, for breakfast toast and a coffee.

Apart from all the health benefits, there are the spiritual benefits of going through a fraction of what the Lord went through when He was in the desert for 40 days being tempted.

I highly recommend a complete Dry Fast of at least 3 to 4 days for all who want to reach a higher spiritual level, become healthier and stronger in Christ.

For those who have a lot of weight to lose or addictions to overcome, you may need to go a full 6 to 7 days. This would need to be done under supervision and not if you are working as a laborer out in the heat.

5.55 Kilograms = 12.24 Pounds


The Benefits of a Long Term Dry Fast are immense...

For those considering a Dry Fast, be on the watch for the following symptoms of dehydration:

  1. Feeling dizzy, (getting up too quick, slow down and relax).
  2. Rapid heartbeat, (take it easy and let your body rest).
  3. Rapid breathing, (controlled deep breathing and meditation).
  4. Confusion, (this is a sign that you will need to start breaking the Fast).
  5. Fainting, (do not allow yourself to get to this stage).

If you notice you are getting the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd signs, then rest in a shaded, cool area.
4th sign - take a little water and a small piece of fruit, rest.
5th sign - you have ignored the other warning signs, end the fast.

Great excursion about your DRY FAST exercise. Do you, by any means advocate a 7 day stretch of Dry Fast to those without Excess Fat in Their System??

Not unless they are under supervision for the final 2 days. I would recommend not working during the Dry Fast, treat it as a Sabbatical if possible. Anyone overcoming addictions or have additional health problems should be supervised throughout the whole period.

Great job, brother! I had to break mine around 1 am at 76 hours due to some not so good effects. Not sure if it had to do with my asthma but having extreme shortness of breath, weird heart movements, and a small taste of blood were some clear warning signs to break! I have a lot of respect for those able to do 4 days or more!

There is so many benefits that come from it. Thank you for opening up our eyes to the truth.

I am just worried if I would do it, I get too skinny
