I am learning to grow this wonderful flower and have two of them. My first one is starting to set buds again. I have only had it since February. The second one I bought a couple of weeks later and it still has blooms.
They are really beautiful, yours are what color?
One is white, but a dye was added to make it blue. The other is a burgundy. I hope to add to what I have once I make sure I can keep them going. I am also remodeling my plant room where I grow salad greens and other vegetables during winter. I keep my Orchids there for now. I will have more room once I get the room finished.
I am always amazed of the color variation available for Orchids.
Wao, it must be beautiful, I once saw a very small type of orchid, and it was green, and with a special aroma. That was in the house of my sister-in-law who lives far away from here. The orchids have an infinite number of sizes and colors. My mother-in-law cultivated them, she had many.
I have been interested in growing Orchids for some time, but did not have the time. Starting with two is perfect. Knowing me I could easily get carried away; so many colors.
