The grape is a great ally when it comes to beauty, it is good for the skin, thanks to numerous active ingredients capable of nourishing the epidermis and is useful against various diseases, such as oily skin, cellulite and acne and to combat veins varicose The puree applied to the face and neck is beneficial for its astringent and revitalizing action. Given the high amount of sugar, the grape is undoubtedly one of the most recommended fruits between meals, since, in combination with other foods, can significantly increase the glycemic load of a meal. Much better as a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack, perhaps combined with an adequate dose of walnuts or almonds. It must be said that grapes are eaten very well alone, while it rarely adapts to combinations with other fruits, as in fruit salads. Much more versatile are all its derivatives: wine, grape juice and jam.

Wine, in particular, is widely used for the preparation of sauces and combines well with the preparation of fish. The important thing when it is used in the preparation of dishes is to evaporate well the alcohol contained in it, so as not to find it in cooked foods.

As for jams, taking into account the high sugar content, it is good to opt for those without added sugar (therefore, 100% fruit). Special attention must also be paid to the preparation of sweets, where the overall sugar content is already high. Therefore, whatever the form of grape used (often raisins or dried grapes), it is always good not to exceed the quantities.
