My New to Steemit Post
Hello Steemit,
My name is Michael and I am a father of 5 boys and a little girl and we live in the middle of North Dakota. I have a wonderful wife named Jessica and we homeschool our children and enjoy reading scriptures, gardening, going for nature walks, photography and camping. We currently live in a small house in town but we are hoping to find a house out in the country with some acreage so we can grow our own food and plant an orchard and raise some chickens and goats and let our children learn from the creation of the Almighty and develop a good work ethic. If anyone could help us with any sort of financial help or advice no matter how small we would greatly appreciate your support.
Some of things we are hoping to do on the farm include building an underground greenhouse due to the cold weather here in North Dakota, planting a large vegetable garden, an herb garden, an edible flower garden, growing mushrooms, raising hedgehogs, operating a worm farm, growing an orchard with a large variety of fruit trees including apples, plums, pears, paw paw, seaberries, persimmon, peach and mulberry. we are also hoping to plant grape vines, blueberries, honeyberries, jostaberry, gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries, elderberries, currants, juneberries blackberries, cranberries, goji berries, cornelian cherries and kiwi as well. We also are hoping to do a little bit of beekeeping and have a couple dozen chickens and a few goats as well.
As part of the community I plan on posting bible verses, teachings and advice as well as posts about homeschooling activities, the day to day activities in a busy household, cryptocurrency, memes, family outings and when we are able to move to a farmstead YHWH willing I will also be posting about daily activities on the farm and helping to support my fellow steemians in any way that I can. Thank you for this amazing platform and this awesome community that has developed from it. Hope to get to know you all more as the time and posts go by..Thanks!
Would love to hear your take on homeschooling! If you have any lessons learned or create any homeschooling resources those would be awesome!! While I am currently stepping away from Steemit for a 2-3 week vacation... Watch for updates. This account is a curation account that reads and upvotes new Steemians!! We focus on strong family, gardening/food harvest, and homesteading(though less so on homesteading since it has pretty good support on Steemit already!). For these three topics, feel free to use the #healthy-home hash tag.
My opinion on posting bible verses... It ads little value to just post a quote. The bible is redily available on the internet. If you have some personal reflection on a chapter of scripture, or share how a daily bible reading gave you strength for that day... that is more appropriate for the steemit platform and less likely to get you flagged(downvoted) for copy paste spam.

Welcome to Steemit! Your plan sounds wonderful! Hopefully with a few months here on this platform, you can start saving some money to make your dreams come true! There are many homesteaders on Steemit that are ready and willing to help guide and give ideas. Me and my mother, @mamajeani, do a lot of gardening in small form, as we dont have the acreage to do a whole lot. We also have 2 goats and are in the process of getting chickens! So excited for fresh eggs! Feel free to give her a follow, she posts some great things on homesteading and the like. Following you and looking forward to see your dreams come true in real time!

I really enjoy that you are going to be posting articles related to praising our almighty! As a brother in Christ I welcome that with arms wide open! I also thoroughly enjoyed the photographs and your farming ideas. I am not incredibly well versed in farming so I wanted to ask you a question. How would one do an underground greenhouse? I think this would be an incredible article to share on Steemit and I will support it personally!
Are you involved in the crypto trade or anything relative to blockchain tech? This is one of my day to day activities, dealing with crypto and such. I'd love to talk further about it. I currently trade and am in the process of designing my own crypto based company.

Thanks so much for your support and comment. I am loving Steem so far as you are free to post on many different subjects on here and the community seems great. I am really new to this and blogging in general so I am not sure exactly what I need to really get going but any advice that you have for me would be great.
I am pleased that you are a brother in faith and hope to talk to you much more on this matter. As far as having an underground greenhouse I will post more on this at a later date, we are by no means experts on it but with the weather the way it is here in North Dakota it appears to be the best option for us.
We do buy crypto and love the technology but rather than trading we generally hodl I would also love to discuss more of this with you and pick your brain about the best investments and maybe you can tell me a bit about your possible entry into the crypto world with a company. Hope to chat sometime soon!
