An Open Letter To @sneak
I saw that in an effort to combat spamming, an effort I heartily applaud, I notice that you've been flagging comments by @familyprotection. @familyprotection is an organization that supports families and children around the world in their effort to prevent abuses by CPS, foster care and other similar government agencies. Their comment is to let authors know that their post has been upvoted and resteemed- that's all. Many people depend on @familyprotection as a voice for their own issues with these agencies. For example, in my own case, I had to borrow $3000 for legal expenses and am having to power down to pay it back. Steemit is my only source of income and like many others depend on @familyprotection. By flagging these wonderful people, you're hurting real people- people who are already in a sensitive situation. CPS/foster care abuse often results in children being forced into the child trafficking pipeline... Only a complete psychopath or sadistic pedophile would support something like that- and I'm positive you're neither.
I'm sure that you're a really good guy whose only purpose is to stop spamming on Steemit- I wish I had the juice to join you in that effort! But @familyprotection is not one of the people that abuses the Steemit platform... in fact they are the opposite- they're what every group should aspire to be, a very necessary public service and a credit to Steemit. Thank you in advance, I'm sure that as a credit to Steemit yourself, you'll take this to heart.

To start off, I can't believe that I have to explain myself when all I am trying to do is help But on reflection, I can see why some may perceive them as being spam, or some kind of voting ring! But facts speak for themselves.
Who benefits from these comments?
We are raising funds, the funds get powered up or get invested in our family-protection bitshares account, we chose bitshares because of its transparency.
The only person who has benefited from the funds that have been raised or donated so far, has been @hickorymack who needed help to keep her children from being legally kidnapped!
And the only people who will ever benefit from the funds we raise are going to be people like @hickorymack!
The funds are transparent, nothing is hidden.
I am not here to fuck steemit over!
I believe in steemit, and even @ned recognized this when he resteemed one of my posts, I'm not bragging, I just want you all to understand how much love I have for this platform!

My credibility means more to me than anything else, and if people think the comments are spammy then I'll stop them In an instant! But I will never stop helping people and I'll just have to think of new ways to get the job done!

I guess this is one of the many road bumps we will encounter, but none of which can derail the Good we all as a community are trying to accomplish. You are not alone Dear Brother, and your Credibility surpasses every forms of "false-loose-talks" to tarnish your image.
Nothing would stop the Train and we would rise to the level where we can offer more help to more families and children who are facing the corrupt CPS, those who truly need to have a Voice.!. You are not alone @markwhittam!!
Thank you my friend! I'm like you, all I have in life is my integrity and honor. I almost didn't write this- I'm not an admin and didn't want to overstep my bounds. But this needs to be said. I have no doubt that @sneak has the wellbeing of Steemit at heart and has mistakenly seen @fp as a spammer. This is a community and we all have to live here together... if it's to be a REAL community we have to respect one another and not abuse whatever power we may have.
He is not well meaning actually...he has a twitter account with the same handle and is politically active. His flagging is extremely politically motivated and he is desperately trying to cover up certain issues. Go and look at @clarityofsignal account and how he mass flagged posts on the Florida school shooting. I will leave it at that. Now I look forward to being destroyed with a huge downvote:)

There's a lot of fighting and flagging going on at the moment unfortunately. I hope the infighting doesn't kill the platform.
And I believe in the cause and support it as much as I can. This "family" account he is talking about is me. He sent me a name and asked me to look into it. I spent most of the day looking into it and found there was physical documentation that the child was never abused. It was in the court records and I sent him a copy of it. he did not like my response so now he is trying to bash it by saying that I was rude and responded with disinformation. Just because he did not like what I found when I actually look at the court records.

No I understand why you are saying this. He has muted you so you can not see the comment that I am referring to. Mindhawk commenting something about how he sent me information to look into about a case that he talks about in one of his posts and how I did not really look into it. Strangely though I can not see the comment anymore.
Mindhawk feeds of our energy, don't give him the time of day, he craves attention and some of us are falling for it. I truly believe if we ignored him, he would move on to people who buy his trash talking nonsense. The guy needs help.

Why would you stop making comments that others ''think" are spam?
Its better they grow up and let go of their own fantasies about what Steemit is and how it can be used.

I love what @markwhittam and @canadian-coconut have established and have the biggest hearts and only want to help and support people who need help and I can't believe that anyone would want to or even would think that this is a spam or anything like that.
We need our voices heard and documented. I know this is not a trendy topic...the government is abusing its power and destroying families and individuals lives that are struggling to survive. Out of a few success stories heard in the corporate media about children being saved by government agencies there are hundreds of cases of child abuse and deaths from government intervention and neglect that we never hear about!
The more people that come forward and tell their story the stronger we become. And one day we will have the strength to go to the government and make them put a stop to these agencies.
I hope so @curlfamilyvlog. When researching the history of vaccine I ran across hundreds of abuse stories of native foster kids in Canada and the USA. I will be publishing these abuse stories in connection with vaccine injuries.
I've done a few posts on vaccines. All they do is poison kids and ruin their immune systems... and those are the good ones. I did a post on the polio vaccines. Concerns were raised about SV-40 (Simian Virus) which causes cancer- it was approved anyway. The worst part is this was in the 50's and it's only gotten worse!!!
I've read about all the crap that is in our modern vaccines. I was so shocked about the cow and horse pus they used in vaccines in the past. The old knowledge says we must not mix species blood, it causes disease. ...I should find those quotes, it is as if they are talking about vaccines back in Hippocrates time.
Thank you so much for writing this post. It is a sad thing when such a post has to be said. I wish my vote was worth more as this statement deserves more than I can give tight now. There are many that support familyprotection and many more that need it. For a couple of people to make it their mission to try to destroy such a much needed group is really sad.
I really hope that that isn't the case and that it's just a mistake.
Thanks @richq11 for getting this out in the open. When I saw this happening on my last @familyprotection post, I did not know what the hell was going on and was confused. I was hoping there was not going to be a big flag war or something go down. Hopefully now the dust will settle and life can go on. Again thanks my friend.

He is into state control and supporting the official government narrative regardless of evidence that does not support it.
Don't get me wrong, from what I understand he is a really bright guy but like the rest of us he has blind spots.

I've seen good people get caught in the flag wars, there has to be some kind of regulation when flagging or this will turn into a monkey shit throwing storm...oh what it already has...
I guess a group of people will have to get together to form an agency to up vote and protect good content and users that are flagged.
I think it's just important to know that the guys who run STINK aren't innocent angels. This should be addressed often. @sneak runs around with too much ignorance MEETS confidence for my taste. There is a pattern to his flagging that I find absurd for the guy in charge of getting the kinks out of SteemIt. He should stay CLEAR of these types of situations and stick to activity regarding Technical Issues, or get DIRECTLY involved with the @Haejin situation. But his voting and flagging when it comes to the more adult topics is ridiculous.

I'm afraid that the admins are a bunch of feckless cowards who, in the pretense of "keeping the platform free and democratic" refuse to take a stand.
I don't know if this is true or not I haven't researched all the accounts flagged. But I have personally seen some of the people I love here on Steemit flagged and had their reputation ruined for no better reason than disagreeing with a flag by large accounts.
Having a lot of cash to invest in a large account or having corporate positions of power does not mean the individual has the ability to use their power wisely.

I agree. Think this is the perfect way to have an open honest discussion. I applaud you for your upfront and honest response. Think to often in today's society we try and fight back or lash out without first having a conversation. Great conversation starter
