Why is this urgent?
Parental Rights said: That’s because our team will be going to D.C. on Wednesday, 27 June, talking with members of Congress about the proposed Parental Rights Amendment. Your calls before then will make the difference between an office greeting us with, “You’re here about what, again?” and an office greeting us with, “Ah! We’ve been hearing about this. Tell us what it’s all about!”
Together—with your calls empowering our visits—we can open the eyes of more congressmen and senators to support this important effort to keep children safely where they belong: with the parents who love them.
What Do you say?
Where do I find my lawmakers' contact information?
You can find it at the following link https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/map or just call the Capitol Switchboard at 202.224.3121 and ask for your lawmaker by name. (You can also ask for your senators by state, even if you don’t remember their name.) They will connect you with your lawmaker’s office, where you will probably speak to a member of their staff.
Tell your congressman’s office something like this:
I’m calling to urge Congressman ____ to sign on as a cosponsor of H.J.Res. 121, the proposed Parental Rights Amendment, led by Rep. Hultgren of Illinois. Last week everyone was talking about the 2,000 children taken from their parents at the border since April. That’s how many children are taken by Child Protective Services in our country every three days. Something must be done to keep innocent families together without hurting the state’s ability to protect children from abuse. This Amendment strikes that balance and deserves your support.
Tell your Tell senator’s office the same thing, just adjust your first line to:
I’m calling to urge Senator ____ to sign on as a cosponsor of S.J.Res. 48, the proposed Parental Rights Amendment, led by Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Last week everyone was talking about......
What is this Amendment about and why should I support it?
It is about the empowerment of Parents. The protection of our children through the empowerment of our Parents.
The image is not so clear so here is what this Amendment is all about:
SECTION 1
The liberty of parents to direct the upbringing, education, and care of their children is a fundamental right.
Parental rights will be specifically enumerated in the text of the Constitution.
SECTION 2
The parental right to direct education includes the right to choose, as an alternative to public education, private, religious, or home schools, and the right to make reasonable choices within public schools for one's child.
SECTION 3
Neither the United States nor any State shall infringe these rights without demonstrating that its governmental interest as applied to the person is of the highest order and not otherwise served.
SECTION 4
The parental rights guaranteed by this article shall not be denied or abridged on account of disability.
SECTION 5
This article shall not be construed to apply to a parental action or decision that would end life.
If this Amendment can be approved and passed it will be a major breakthrough for parents in the US. Everyone in the United States should support this Parental Rights Amendment and help to get this passed.

This is a great idea and needs to go viral .
Parents need their own Amendment. Protecting rights of parents and putting it into action. A national effort to make a difference in the United States. It seems that the rights of parents have been whittled away over the decades and this would be a good step to take me those rights back and being proactive about it in the process. let's hope that this really has a good purpose, not like in my country, despite constant amendments and laws are omitted or interpreted by political leaders as they wish
Thank you for commenting @mgaby. That's the only hope for people at least is the law is changed then you have something to stand on and fight CPS with.
This is great initiative and i really want to appreciate your efforts because parents have sole right on children and government cannot take away children or separate them from their parents without any reason, and if this happening then that is evil act and it's time to raise of voice and not the state of silence.
