KNOW YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.

If you are approach by anyone from social services, keep in mind that regardless of what they say, most of them are certainly not there to “help” you. They may appear “nice” and “helpful,” but know the fact that most of these individuals usually “believe” the anonymous allegations reported against a family.

You might just want to end this quickly by welcoming them in, to show them you have nothing to hide as you are a good parent. DON’T. They are only there to gather charges against you.

Even if they seem so nice and harmless, remember, this is how CPS makes money. To keep their jobs, they must seperate children from their families. They are wolves dress sheep’s clothing. They come to your door step pretending, “to be of help.”

Don’t let them in without without a proper warrant. They will lie, pressure you, and attempt to trick their way into your home, but don’t allow it. Unless they have a properly issued warrant, signed by a judge, with a sworn testimony by a named person. they have no right or what so ever to enter your home unless they can pony up a possible danger to the child. Be polite while refusing them entries into you home. There’s nothing a DHS/CPS/DCFS worker likes more than for you to be aggressive and, especially, curse them.

• 2 Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

• 3 If you are under the age of 18, anything you say can be used against you in a juvenile court prosecution for a juvenile offense and can also be used against you in an adult court criminal prosecution if the juvenile court decides that you are to be tried as an adult.

• 4 You have the right to talk to an attorney before answering any questions.

• 5 You have the right to have your attorney present during the questioning.

• 6 If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you without cost, before or during questioning, if you desire.

What is a Miranda warning? A Miranda warning direct people of their constitutional right to not answer questions or to have an attorney present before answer any questions. Does a police officer guide a person of their Miranda rights before asking a question? No. The Miranda warning is only effective during a “custodial interrogation.”
