The Filth of The CPS - A Song Parody Crying Out! - Enjoy with Troy!
We all remember 'The House of The Rising Sun' (1964) by the Animals. This song lends itself well to the cry of pain and plea for justice for those who suffer under the evils of the Child Protective Services. Oh the cry from the soul that wails in pain. This song parody is fitting from the mood and original words of the song.
There is a house in New Orleans they call the rising sun.
It's been the ruin of many a poor boy and God I know I'm one
Oh mother tell your children not to do what I have done
Spend your life in sin and misery in the house of the rising sun.
Take a moment and listen to this song parody. Can you feel the emotion crying out for help? Will you warn others of the pain and misery that is created by the CPS foster system? I encourage you to sing a long to the lyric below.
The Filth of the CPS
There is a branch of government they call the CPS
It's been the ruin of many a poor child and left them in distress
My mother was cross examined when they took me from my home
The neighbor lied and ratted on her and now I'm all alone.
Well the social worker is evil, they sell out kids for cash
And dump them in the foster care, cause they must have their stash.
Oh mama tell the world of the story I confess
The hell, the tears, the wasted years, the filth of the CPS
Well I got one foot on tomorrow and the other on yesterday
I'm going back and face the sorrow - of the grave where mama lay.
Well there is a branch of government they call the CPS
It's been the ruin of many a poor child and left them in distress
Side note
If there is hope and salvation to the pain and misery, it can be found in 'Amazing Grace' as those words also fit the melody line of this song.
