A sticky package has arrived!

Many months ago on a POST made by @hebrewhousewife about her husband’s sunflower field I commented that I would be willing to try some sunflower honey after learning that a bee keeper in the area wanted to place hives in the field. And to be honest I totally forgot about that…..well it was 6 months ago! Then she left a comment recently saying she had some honey and wanted to send me some, I figured it would be a sample size…boy was I wrong.

It did have a hint of sunflower and the taste was amazing! I found it to be sweeter than your average honey. As I was eating it I really could not tell it had anything to do with sunflowers anymore as it just tasted like honey should, but again a bit sweeter than normal! I tried it plain then I also put some on some oatmeal...delicious! I will greatly enjoy it!

A BIG thank you goes out to @hebrewhousewife and her family for sending me such a large amount of honey from their sunflowers! Thank you for remembering a conversation we had 6 months ago and thank you for taking the time and effort to send it to me!
