Good Times With Family
Since Boracay was closed last April 26, a lot of people and tourists have come to San Juan La Union to explore the ambiance and for a summer vacation. Because of the great beaches and good food, a lot of people tried to come up north. And they were never mistaken. This summer, the beaches were filled with tourists who came all the way from the south to experience the beaches and a lot of artists also came to jam with the locals. Last night was a good night, my day was not that nice but it ended with full of hope for the next morning. We went to Surfer's Grill located along the National Highway going to San Juan to eat dinner. I enjoyed this time with my family because we seldom get together in times like these. The restaurant was quite big and it is open because it is quite smoky.

The theme of this resto is that you can grill your own food in your own table. There are a lot to choose from and you can choose from meat to seafood. I think the owner had a good idea on this one because for only P299 pesos per person, you can already be full with unlimited barbeque, Squid, chicken and a lot more. So it's literally unlimited as long as you can finish everything that you grilled and never leave even a single barbeque stick,haha!!! Because when they see that you have leftovers, the staff will charge you with more than what you are going to pay.

Th secret to tasting all kinds of food in this kind of restaurant?? Never fill you tummy with a lot of rice, and always take it slow. You can always go back and get more when you're done tasting the other kinds of grilled food.

Whew!!! We were so full when we got home and it really was a fun-filled night. I am looking forward again to more times like these with my family. For those who want to go up north, try to visit San Juan, La Union. It's really a good place. There are a lot of food and nice places to eat and to choose from.

Family meet-ups after such a while can be a very satisfying experience, especially over the dinning table! I agree. You obviously had a memorable time. My voting power is so far depleted. once it regenerates, i will be sure to upvote this post. You deserve more!

My wife and daughter live in San Juan. The beach is one of our favorite hangouts. I miss those days now that I am back here in Vegas. Btw, you made me hungry with those bbqs!
