Canuck Place Children's Hospice: Our home away from home | Hope Lives Here!
My daughter Lumina has a terminal illness and while it is tough, we are surrounded by love and light, family, volunteers, friends, and care providers do so much for us everyday.
One of those care providers is Canuck Place Children's Hospice, they are a children's hospice which provides respite care for kids and their families.
CPCH offers so many amazing services:
- homemade meals, by professional cooks
- musical therapy for kids with health struggles
- field trips, and lovely memory making opportunites
For instance today CPCH is taking the kids out to a pottery shop, where they can paint a special cup, or bowl, for fun, and an early christmas present for someone special.
We call this place our home away from home, and we love it.
Since we are here this weekend, and since this home has a special place in my heart, I thought I would share it with you today.
