2053 children in custody as the US "Zero Tolerance" immigration rip havoc and the current struggle in International Politics

in #family6 years ago

Politicians and politics remains divisive and polarized even when compassion should override scoring political points. Its really a shame that the "beacon of hope" that has invaded more countries in the world on humanitarian grounds than any other country in the world continues to practice an inhumane action in direct conflict of its own values.

There are those who continue to point out these are illegal, aliens who have broken the laws. Others point out that America should not show any weakness, cage them, don't even give them the opportunity to lay eyes before a judge. These aren't American born children why is that our problem, and the rhetoric takes new low.

Things I did not understand before, I understand now. Your place of birth matters, your background matters. Who are these people, a bunch of women fleeing Central and Latin American countries. To the elites, we can pimp the women in our clubs and cage the children.

Its quite an interesting display of human interaction, American politicians have supported rogue governments in several of these countries for years. In fact, the lifeline of many of these governments exist because of American support. Its similar to what is going on in Europe today with the immigration crisis, NATO bomb the hell out of Libya and many former colonial power engage in proxy wars with several of their former African subjects(countries), now these migrants are fleeing to these countries.

Dirty politics I call it, the sad part, these issues are so complex and may take several decades to resolve, look at Central and Latin America, its post colonial independence is written with American intervention on humanitarian grounds. I can see this playing out for another 6 years with Trump in office. It would get a lot worse before its get better as politicians would play the card over and over, what I am more concern about, is ensuring that our children irregardless of where they are born aren't caught in this proxy war.

To President Trump, America has dip her hands in so many countries that indirectly it has responsibility to carry it. Irregardless of where the children are born, their rights should be defended. Failure to do that, plays right into the cards of the extremist. I strongly believe, doing so secure America prosperity similar to their beliefs of defending Israel.

It would be interesting to see how these issues play out, I won't be surprise if Socialism or Communism shows its head again within a decade or probably a mixture of both. What is clear right now, we are struggling to deal with these social issues and our current model is finding it difficult to find a balance of securing peace, and prosperity for all, not only a few.

you have to be in people's shoes to understand them, I want to leave my country because I can not even eat here, I am not a bad person, in fact I have a very humanistic profession I am a psychologist and the last times I give my free services.
