I shared in the last post about a guy who got his girlfriend pregnant even though they are family friends and both parents approved of their relationship. The guy accepted the pregnancy but he needed to know how to go about the whole thing, which indicates he is obviously disappointed and sad on how things turn out.
First thing first, we all make mistakes and the only difference in it is the extent by which it varies. Some mistakes are obvious immediately and some take later to manifest and in this case, it will take 9 months for this one to manifest.
Even though they both love each other and the parents are confident about the two of them marrying each other, this mistake wasn’t planned for. I am sure both parents weren’t planning to be grandparents so soon and this has altered not only the plans of the children but that of the parents too, who must have had quite a high expectation of the two children and what has been laid ahead for them. Maturity to some extent has come quite early for these two children.
I am glad to some extent that this guy turned up. Some would run away or con the lady into aborting the pregnancy. He didn’t do this which shows that he has some level of decency, at least. That is a good sense of character that would stand him in good stead with the lady’s family. If he encouraged her to abort it and things went so smooth without complications, would they have known? No, they wouldn’t have known.
I have a lady around me that once had an abortion and I was the only that knows and even till date her parent didn’t know. She told me years after she had it after I recently met her and was asking her about her life in general. She felt confident to trust me with such information and I would never share those details with anyone or who she is. Such could have been the case with this young man but he owned up to his responsibility and that is a true test of his character.

You cant call these as mistake. Yess these are something pretty earlier in their life. They were in love and committed to have a long term relation with each one of them trully love each other.
Getting pregnant is bit early but such thing might crop up when the excitement level os too high. I am happy for the girl and salute the boys for standing tall to take on the responsibility. He is not running for sure from his responsolibility and this shows the level of maturity he has.

It is still a mistake because the expectations their respective parents have on them has been breached. They let their parents down and they were all over with their emotions which led to it. Like I always joke, a baby is not a mistake. You had sex and spilt it in. What was to be expected? Plasma TV? Hahahaha.
Ups and downs are part of the life. We do a lot of mistakes but some mistakes becomes our weakness.
If he accepted the lady with pregnancy, then he is a kind person. but the lady should be honest with him.

Yes, he accepted the pregnancy which is a true test of his character. i hope it stands him in good stead with the parents of the lady.
since he love her so much, he would surely wait and bear the consequence (if any) I think those that run away don't love their girlfriend
Running away is like punishing the lady, which is not fair, since he claimed he loves this lady.
I think that this work has been done wrong because in Islam's view it is totally unacceptable to marry before the marriage, but they are normal for the situation or the excitement that they have done to stop them from it.
Keeping the secret is a beautiful thing and dealing with manhood and taking responsibility is a balanced and dependable personality
