You say that Western people are not being dragged into the conflict? It seems to me that yes, in fact I have heard the opinion of Americans and Europeans and that if they think they are being dragged into a conflict that is not theirs. In reality, the American public rejects the presence of their country in the Middle East. Likewise, Israel receives constant financial and military aid financed by the taxpayers of European and North American nations.
Becoming an "ally" after the hot wars are over is not much of an effort. Israel gets money, yes and so does everyone else!
Who else? These economic and military aid are a problem, taxpayers end up paying the gifts that politicians want to give their friends, and it is worse when people do not want to help that, because there is a lack of harmony between the public and the government. Will the government charge me taxes by lowering my quality of life to give them to someone I do not care to support? There are people who see it that way, and I think they are right.

The US government helps Egypt because it is one of the Arab countries that is at peace with Israel. Egypt receives $ 1 billion each year, from US taxpayers, for its military and civilian programs. No other nation except Israel receives more money.
Anyway, as I was saying, I criticize the whole intervention issue, the Americans are paying for war conflicts that are not theirs, with the sweat of their front.
Imagine this: you work, you make an effort and you earn your money, someone comes and takes some of your money to supposedly spend it on paying the debt that he contracted to "help you", as well as for different benefits. On top of that, that person prints more money, paying interest unconstitutionally, getting more debt each time, at the same time the loan he asked puts more money in circulation, which ends up making the little money that still remains for you, that is, the one that was not taken away, ends up losing part of its value. Now, once all of that is done, part of that money that has been taken from you will end up being used to finance people without your consent, people that you may not support.

I've got to say the I'm not in favour of foreign aid its just welfare for arms companies, I just don't think the americans do it in support of Israel more as a method of maintaining control so that they can apply the Oslo process like the one that brought peace(pieces) to Yugoslavia.
