Do You Believe in The Rewards for Seeking God Diligently?
When you hear that "God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6) do you ever listen to a voice that says, "Maybe, but I'll pass, because I believe doing my own thing will be more rewarding"? That voice isn't the Holy Spirit, and it isn't promoting faith, and it is stopping you coming to God. Because you can't come to God unless you really believe that God is a rewarder - literally means in the Greek He pays you and makes it worth your while.
Don't wait for a personal disaster before you are convinced that DILIGENTLY seeking God will be worth your while.
