Steem Monsters Card Delegation: All you need to know.
Card Delegation just went live on the Steem Monsters Test server.
Here's what you need to know:
A card with a cooldown on it can be used in a Tournament but not in Ranked play.
A card that is delegated to you is therefor playable straight away for a tournament even if it has a cooldown. In ranked, only when it has no cooldown.
A card that you undelegate from someone else will have a cooldown if that person played with the card recently.
This is what it looks like:
I delegated this card to @ezzy by typing his name in the bottom and press delegate.
Here you can see the info on the delegation.
This is what you see when you undelegate.
Thoughts:
Instant Card delegation for Tournaments makes sense. A card can only be in one players hand at the same time.
For ranked a cooldown is needed because you don't want several account rotating a MAXed Deck with no cooldown and grabbing all the reward cards.
Right now you can only delegate on card at the time. Later hopefully full splinters/decks.
A delegation Market will not be created anytime soon unless a third party develops it (YES, PLEAS!).

Just feels like another reason to continue buying and collecting cards. The tournament system is a great catalyst to get this started.

That is awesome!! Yes someone like @peakmonsters or @minnowbooster please create a market for Steem Monsters now that cards are able to be delegated.

This is going to be great. I have 6 GF alpha lightning dragons im not using (I AM using the 7th). A great way to generate some free cash flow
I thought of delegated proof of monster (DPOM) when I first started playing. It would be good if it was also a way to prevent cards getting stolen, if someone gets hold of your active key. We have time to use our owner key to stop a thief stealing our SP, I hope something similar could be done for our cards, as some of them could be quite valuable.
ok, a bit dissapointed that I can not delegate my whole deck but i am sure somebody will make that possible soon ..

Ohh wauw yeah baby... so its time to level some decks to delegate. 😎 great to hear all those positive things. 🤗 card delegation a way of earning passive income and level cards by playing high good news good news. 😃 you will hit your targets more easily now exyle.
We will see great giveaways using this new feature now. Hosts don't need to giveaway the card. They can just delegate them for a week or so. A market would be great though.
