What do you call an attractive person (man/woman/both) in your country?
In Danmark we (of course) have slang names for gorgeous, sexually attractive people, and they are as far as I know not similar to the ones used in English. When translated to English it might sound rather funny but these are all in common use:
Roast (both)
Herring (woman)
Salmon (woman)
Cut, chop (like what you do with an ax) (both)
Cigar (woman)
Luscious larva (woman)
and a bit more seldom:
space-sled
I know that you say "faire une pipe", in French and that is definitely not close to any expression in Danish. So it could be interesting to hear some English translations of this topic from other languages...

Haha, well there is Anglo-saxons present!
So I can say only this:
In Germany we said things like "Schnecke" (snail), "Biene" (bee), "Torte" (cake), "Schnitte" (slice), "Puppe" (doll), "Mieze" (kitty) and even "steiler Zahn" (super tooth). But all those are a bit outdated right now. I guess, we switched to "chick" or "chica" a few years ago.
I almost forgot about "Granate" (grenade), "Kanone" (cannon) and "Bombe" (sexbomb) - As germans we certainly use military comparisons ;-)
Those are great, thanks. Seems like we are not the only ones having strange not too flattering ways of saying this. Schnecke and steiler Zahn is my favourites.
Yeah, Schnecke has some allusions to the female genital while steiler Zahn, well must be from the times when women are treated like horses...
In Russia they often say "stud" or "cool heifer" while speaking about attractive boys and girls, but these are quite vulgar expressions. Softer versions: "little cat" and "little hare" and are used for both sexes.
Thanks for the answer! - Funny to see how the land animals are predominant in Russia, while we in Denmark like to think of fish when we see a beautiful lady - You can say stud too in Denmark, but that would be a little dated.
I just got to think of another one in Danish, which is maybe also a little strange luscious larva. They even made some candy with the name...
One more note: in Russia a gorgeous woman is romantically called a "white swan". Unfortunately, it has become rare.

Hunk, and other American expressions is actually also used as loan-words in Denmark. I also took away the ones that were the same as in English like candy metaphors and the strange sound-words that I did not know how to translate. But I got one more that must be exotic for you two in hot places. It is not a common word but translated to English it is space-sled (rumslæde) used exclusively about women.
