I came across www.miningrigrentals.com and decided to try out their service.
I rented a DAGGER-HASHIMOTO(S) MINING 10G for $548
I connected to us1.ethermine.org:4444 using my ETH address as a worker.
After several hour, it became clear that renting a mining rig is not profitable in the least.
Anyone looking to make profit from mining cryptocurrency should avoid renting a rig...
Thoughts welcome...
overall mining is not profitable for an individual unless you are running large rig plant of several thousands of GPUs or ASICs and cheap electricity ...otherwise ...mining is an illusion ...I have invested in Bitcoin cloud mining but with the increasing difficulties ...break even point is getting higher and higher and would take 1300 days to even break even ....large miners gets the blocks rewards which are bonuses for them but not for individual miners ...
