Quite the opposite; it ensures price discrimination can be done at a better pace.
Price discrimination isn't meant as a discriminatory or racial issue, it simply ensures those who can't afford to pay a higher price are able to get a product at a lower cost by paying with time as they have to put some effort to search for a promotion.
It's a well-used but implicit technique used by businesses to optimize sales volume.
