I agree with the prediction based on your calculation but I think Ethereum will go beyond the Bitcoin price before 2020. I made my first investment in Bitcoin in 2012 and I predicted the current price of Bitcoin i.e $2500 for 2018. I can see the Ethereum has a bright future because of its technology. This is future of computer.
Nice - Bitcoin place will be taken not by Ethereum but Burst in my opinion - the most disrupting technology!! Take a look to it

Hi Willie - nice to see you here. The aim of this page is start a group conversation using science and data science as a start point. So this is not about optimism - and I invite you and others to look at it with a fresh mind. The most common error in analysis is consider the tokens you own and find a rational motivation to keep it there - but the truth is that sometimes there are other tokens doing well . I don't think bitcoin and ethereum are competitors but Ethereum will have in the next 3 years a bigger percentage gain. Later on - Ethereum will be used by people everyday for shopping mostly and bitcoin as a gold investment with a nice deflation rate.

A lot of unknowns. However, the old business rule: Be FIRST, BETTER OR DIFFERENT. FIRST is always preferred. That is why people will call all crypto "Bitcoin" for a good long while. Hard to forecast, but your data on how few current users currently trends towards large price increases over time. Supply-Demand. Necessity.

to be honest.... there's something disruptive in crypto... new ... faster... that consumes less resources... but for now only few people know about it. bitcoin , ethereum, it's all technology that has been surpassed
If the government doesn't get in the way and Dash doesn't creep up on them $1000 or more possibly.

Well, a price prediction is basically impossible. But anyone can guess. Our guess is that it will be at least $1000, since it's such a powerful system and used more broadly every day. Even many other altcoins and projects are created on it!
why do you think it is basically impossible
It's too far in the future, it's a completely new system (smart contracts), the speed of consumer/business adoption can be fast or slow, many altcoins are trying to get a piece of the 'pie'. It will go higher for sure, but there are just to many uncertain factors now to make a calculated prediction.
2020 - if this is too far you can consider a smaller timeframe. If so , what should this be in your opinion.
