Shadow of Heaven in Tongging

Sipisopiso Waterfall is a waterfall located in Dusun Hutabaringin, Tongging Village, District of Brand,
Karo District, North Sumatra Province,
Indonesia .

Sipisopiso Falls has a height of up to 120 meters and is pouring down into a perfect vertical line.
So Sipisopiso Waterfall enter in Plunge waterfall type.
Sipisopiso Waterfall is located on the lips of the giant caldera of Lake Toba and formed on the Pajanabolon River which is one of the rivers supplying water to Lake Toba.
Sipisopiso Falls is about 1,300 meters above sea level.

The name Sipisopiso is taken from the name of a mountain that is located just north-east of Sipisopiso Waterfall. The mountain which is also called Dolok Sipisopiso has a height of about 1,860 meters above sea level.

Sipiso-Piso Waterfall has a cool air because it is in the hills and beautiful scenery surrounded by pine forests on the ridge and stretch of Lake Toba.
Among the cliffs visible waterfall fall vertically. You can enjoy the beauty of Sipiso-piso waterfall and Lake Toba from a distance at the same time.

The trip to Sipiso-Piso Waterfall base takes about 30-45 minutes. As for climbing back up, it takes more time because the track uphill. But it all depends on the stamina you have.
