Story: Matthew And The Dragons (Part VI)

In a certain cave inside the Forest of Gloom...
"You failed?" Asked a man in a muffled voice.
"The guards are stronger than expected. I'm not a match for the axe-wielding warrior," answered the female cloaked assassin in an emotionless voice.
"Should I try attacking again?" She asked.
"...that won't be necessary. Our client didn't pay enough, and the informations are insufficient," the man answered.
"Then?" She asked
"Just observe them but don't do anything for now," the man aswered
"Undersrood," the assassin answered
Putting away the strange communicator, the female assassin leave the cave and disappeared into the mist.
Meanwhile...
"Luck seemed to be on our side. The moon is full today," said Amy happily.
"Will the herb be more effective with the light from the full moon?" Aria asked.
"Of course! It should be atleast 20% more effective!" Explained Amy.
As the two girl chats, strange changes are happening at the lake. To be more specific, the dahlias that litters the lake are changing. Noticing this, everyone's attentions focused on the dahlias.
"Are they all becoming silver-winged dahlias?" Aria exclaimed with shock.
"Yes but not completely. They could at most be called half-transformed," Amy answered excitedly.
"There should some fully matured silver-winged dahlias among them. Look carefully!" She added.
The group then looked around expecting the tranforming dahlias. Suddenly, Matthew exclaimed.
"Amy, come here for a bit. This dahlia looked different," yelled Matthew.
Amy quickly ran towards Matthew while Aria and Boris followed.
"Great! It's a silver-winged dahlia!" Said Amy with excitement.
After expecting the dahlia, Amy puts it inside an especially prepared container.
"Look for more! There should he more of around. One dahlia won't be enough to heal lord silver dragon!" Amy ordered.
Agreeing with her, Matthew and the others started searching again. Several hours later, they finally manages to find enough silver-winged dahlias.
While everyone are celebrating, a shadowy figure watches them inside the mist. This person is the same female assassin that attacked them earlier. But as there's still no order to attack, she merely observe Matthew and his group. Suddenly her communicator made a sound that only she could hear.
Retreating deeper into the mist, the female assassin used the communicator.
"Our client have arranged some people to get rid of that group. You are to assist those people," ordered the man with a muffled voice.
"Understood" aswered the female assassin coldly.
After the short celebration, the Matthew's group pitch camp and rested.
The next morning.
"Let's go back. The faster we go back and heal lord silver dragon the better," said Matthew.
The group then starts the long journey back home, unaware of the danger that awaits them.
